In about three months, it's Christmas and if you know a supporter of FC Nantes, we might have found the perfect gift for him/her. An additional ecological gift!

Whether in society or in football, ecology is on the rise and brands are constantly offering new products with the motivation, the desire to ride the wave of environmental protection. This is particularly the case with major football equipment manufacturers but it is also the case with smaller brands such as Rebond, which is now partnering with FC Nantes to launch a ball that traces the great history of FC Nantes and which also wants to be eco-responsible in its design.

REBOND, ETHICAL AND RESPONSIBLE BALLS

Created by Simon, a self-employed entrepreneur from Nantes, the Rebond brand which declares itself "the first brand of eco-responsible sports balls" and which manufactures "well-scored balls outside but also inside" therefore joins forces to one of the biggest clubs in France for this great first. Eager to produce artistic balls with bio-sourced materials and ethically made with a Made In France range, this small company which can also work with basketballs, volleyballs, handballs and rugby balls has teamed up with an artist Nantes to imagine the design of this ball. We, therefore, discover a ball where yellow and green are obviously highlighted but around which appear historical symbols of the history of the FCN such as the different dates of the league titles, the 3-2 home victory in 1/2 1996 Champions League final against Juventus Turin, Emiliano Sala's number 9 and the name “Soldier”, the club's various coats of arms, the mention “Nantes miracle” which refers to the club's endurance in 2005, the Nantes / Saint-Etienne rivalry, the various coaches and many other references to the yellow and green club.

If today most of the balls are designed on the Indian or Pakistani area (85% according to the Rebond-Project site), the company from Nantes aims to relaunch the Made In France manufacturing of footballs and it is in a factory, where the balls will be produced, that is committed to respecting fair trade. The materials used in production do not contain any phthalates and the paints meet European standards for games and toys. The ball will then be delivered in an organic cotton bag, with a base made from recycled and recyclable fibres, certified 100% PEFC. Because to this day, no ball has yet been produced by the young company, and it is via the Ulule platform that one can pre-order one of these products in the FCN colours. From 200 pre-ordered balloons, production will be launched and the first 500 balls will be delivered around December 12 to slip them discreetly under the Christmas tree.

Launched yesterday on the platform and valid until October 13, the campaign has already won over 35 FC Nantes supporters who can pre-order the classic ball at € 45 or the customised version at € 49. Indeed, Rebond offers to let your imagination run free on one of the ball panels. What to give a little more strength to this unique memory.
